The Final Two
26 AprAfter hundreds of votes the last several weeks, we have reached the final round. We started out with 16 worship songs, and we are now down to 2. The last 2 songs who will compete this week for the title of Best Hymn or Worship Song of 2014 are:
#1 Seed Our God, He is Alive, or as it is known in the C of C world, 728B
#15 seed How Deep the Father’s Love for us.
Voting will start tomorrow for the championship round, and voting will close on Thursday. The winner will be announced Friday evening after the Pepperdine Bible Lectures have ended.

It’s Time for the Final Four!
21 AprIn one of the closest votes in tournament history, we now have our Final Four songs. The number 1 seed, “Our God, He is Alive,” destroyed “How Great is Our God” with 3/4 of the vote! “It is Well” and “I’ll Fly Away” also advanced to the Final Four, and in the closest vote, winning by one vote, and the lowest seed to advance, “How Deep the Father’s Love” beat out last year’s champion, “Holy, Holy, Holy.”

5 AprAfter a week of voting, here are the results of round one. We started with 16 songs, and now we have 8. Take a look below at the updated bracket. There was only one upset, and it was a huge upset! 2 seed “How Great Thou Art” lost to 15 seed “How Deep the Father’s Love for Us.”

C of C Madness has begun!
30 MarStarting tomorrow, voting will start for the second annual C of C Madness Tournament! The sixteen songs have been selected and they are ready to take on each other in a fight to see which will reign supreme as the greatest worship song. Last year, Holy, Holy, Holy won it all. Can they repeat? We shall see over the next 4 weeks. Here is the bracket for the top 16 seeds:
It’s Time for C of C Madness Again!!!
20 MarLast year, almost 12,000 people participated in the largest worship song tournament in the world. This year, we decided to bring it back, and make it better.
Now, we are not going to do a 64 hymnal bracket like last year, we are going to do Sweet Sixteen. Here’s the fun part: YOU get to help decide which songs are going into the bracket. Below is a link to the survey. You can select up to 4 songs per selection. We will take the top 16 songs picked by all the participants and seed them against each other in a winner take all tournament!
Next Thursday, we will announce the Sweet Sixteen Finalists, and begin the tournament. You will have one week to vote per round. Each song will be matched up against different song, so for example, the no. 1 song would be paired against the no. 16 song, and so forth.
Below is the link to begin selecting your favorite songs. Vote as many times as you like. Remember, only the top 16 selected songs will be used in the tournament. Good luck, and go 728B!!!!!
